BONami Membership Terms & Conditions

Your participation in the BONami Programme will be determined by the terms and conditions as set out below

ABOUT BONami

BONami is a Hospitality Loyalty Programme that offers a variety of benefits, privileges and rewards at participating BON Hotels in selected African countries.
BONami and BON Hotels cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed correspondence sent to you via the postal service.
The Hotels reserve the right to request positive identification and verify the cardholder’s identity to ensure the bearer is eligible to redeem benefits.

Membership and fees

BONami benefits are for you and your partner’s use exclusively and is not transferrable. To enjoy all the BONami benefits, a once-off, annual membership fee is payable per member.
Individual members of families or groups, employees of corporate companies or other entities may only be members in their capacities as individuals.
Where a BONami member is staying at a participating BON Hotel as part of an airline crew, transport crew arrangement, convention group, sporting team, education group or any other group booking, the member benefits are not applicable.
BONami and BON Hotels do not guarantee or warrant that any or all of the benefits and privileges of the BONami programme will be available at all times.
BONami and BON Hotels reserve the right to change, modify, limit or cancel any of the BONami programme benefits at any time. This includes increasing or decreasing any requirements for a reward, changing the value of rewards or limiting the availability of rewards. BONami and BON Hotels will advise members of such changes, modifications, limitations or cancellations in good time, as may be required in terms of applicable laws.

Participating hotels

BONami benefits are available at all participating BON Hotels in African countries which have elected to participate in the BONami programme (‘’Participating BON Hotels’’), provided that the participation agreement of the relevant Hotel is unchanged. Our portfolio of participating BON Hotels in Africa includes: BON Hotel Abuja, BON Hotel Asokoro Residence, BON Hotel Elvis, BON Hotel Imperial, BON Hotel Nest Garki II, BON Hotel Octagon, BON Hotel Smith City Awka, BON Hotel Asaba, BON Hotel Hyatti Warri, BON Hotel Transtell Residence Asaba, BON Hotel Platinum Enugu, BON Hotel Kano, BON Hotel Ikeja Residence, BON Hotel Royal Park Lane Akure and BON Hotel Nest Bodija Ibadan. Guaranteed discounted rates 365 days of a year

BONami members receive discounted rates throughout the year.

10% off the best available rate of the day at participating BON Hotels in Africa.

Hotel room upgrades

Subject to availability, BONami members qualify for a complimentary room upgrade, at no additional charge.
Hotel room upgrades are subject to availability of rooms on the day of arrival and will remain at the discretion of management.
Certain Hotels, due to high demand, will not grant free benefits over special days, public holidays, school holidays, events, festivals or peak periods.

Early arrival and late checkout perks

Subject to availability, BONami members are entitled to enjoy early arrival from 12h00 and late checkout privileges up until 16h00 at no additional charge.
Early arrival and late checkout privileges are subject to availability of rooms on the day of arrival and/or departure and will remain at the discretion of management.
Certain Hotels, due to high demand, will not grant free benefits over special days, public holidays, school holidays, events, festivals or peak periods.

Restrictions on benefits

Where a BONami member is staying at a participating BON Hotel as part of an airline crew, transport crew arrangement, convention group, sporting team, education group or any other group booking, the member benefits are not applicable.
BONami and BON Hotels does not guarantee or warrant that any or all of the benefits and privileges of the BONami programme will be available at all times. BONami and BON Hotels reserve the right, to change, modify, limit or cancel any of the BONami programme benefits at any time. This includes increasing or decreasing any requirements for a reward, changing the value of rewards or limiting the availability of rewards, and changing the BONami programme partners. Members will be notified of any such changes.
BONami benefits and rewards will not be applicable at any Hotel that leaves the BON Hotels portfolio – such Hotel will no longer be a participating BON Hotel. BON Hotels will advise members of such changes, modifications, limitations or cancellations timeously, as may be required in terms of applicable laws.

Reservations

For cash payments, reservations will remain provisional until one night’s deposit is received. This deposit is required at time of reservation.
For credit card payments, your credit card number will serve as guarantee of the reservation and you will be charged for the first night’s accommodation at time of booking. The Hotel will contact you to complete the required credit card authorisation form.
Full pre-payment may be required from some Hotels during periods of high demand. Such payment will be non-refundable in the event of cancellation. The Hotel will contact you should this be a requirement for your reservation.
Reservations that have not been guaranteed may be released at any time. The Hotel will endeavour to contact you prior to releasing the reservation.
Rates exclude 1% tourism levy at all participating BON Hotels in South Africa.
Rates are nett and non-commissionable.

Partner benefits

BONami and BON Hotels are not liable for any omissions, acts, or defaults made by any of the BONami programme partners.

Dining benefits

BONami membership cards are non-transferable.
One BONami membership card may be used per table, per reservation.
Your BONami membership card must be presented on arrival at the restaurant.
Discounts do not apply to beverages.
Your meal must include a main course.
Discounts do not apply on special days, events or festivals.
Discounts do not apply on promotions.
Discounts do not apply to room service.
Your BONami membership card entitles you to the following dining discounts for breakfast, lunch and dinner at all participating BON Hotel restaurants in Africa, whether you are a resident in the hotel or simply visiting for a meal.
